On Sunday, October 6th, over 20,000 members of the UK Jewish community and allies, assembled at Hyde Park to commemorate the first anniversary of October 7th. Together, we showed our unity and resilience in the face of hate. We showed our support for the hostages still in Hamas captivity, and we showed that our hope lives on.
Since the terrible terrorist atrocities of October 7th, we have witnessed an unprecedented surge in anti-Jewish hatred both across the UK and around the world. We wrote to the Times, alongside the Board of Deputies and CST, supporting the call for an independent inquiry into the BBC’s coverage of the Israel-Hamas war.
