JLC Joins Call for Met to Change PSC Route to Uphold Rights of Jewish Community

The JLC joined the call made by over 80 politicians to Metropolitan Police to use its powers to move the start location of PSC’s planned march on 18th January.

The failure to move these marches to a route that avoids impacting religious observance in Central London synagogues, is unacceptable.

Speaking to The Sun, JLC CEO Claudia Mendoza said: “We call on the Met Police to use its powers to move the start, to ensure the freedom to protest does not infringe on the rights of the Jewish community. We thank those parliamentarians who have publicly supported this call.”
