Launch of Senior Leadership Alumni Network

As of 2023 there have been 3 graduating cohorts of JLC/LEAD’s Senior Leadership Programme; GAMECHANGERS (2014), and the Dangoor Senior Leadership Programme (DSLP 2017-18, and 2019-20). With 48 communal leaders having participated in the programme, a group of alumni have stepped forward to set up LEAD’s Senior Leadership Programme Alumni network, and we are delighted to announce that this initiative will launch in September and be in full swing by the time that the current DSLP cohort completes their programme in March 2024.

Graduates of LEAD’s senior leadership programmes are accomplished community lay and professional leaders from a range of cross-communal backgrounds and industries. A steering group formed from different cohorts imagined the possibilities for the Jewish community of bringing the three groups of graduates together under one umbrella, and are now making it happen!

The Senior Leadership Programme Alumni network will provide events, seminars, and workshops organised exclusively for alumni, and is aiming to engage some of the most sought-after thought leaders and subject matter experts in leadership, learning and growth.

We are excited that our launch event will be on Monday 4th September 6.30pm, with dinner and drinks. We are delighted that David Dangoor, supporter of the DSLP, will join us for dinner and talk about investment in leadership during an in-conversation with JLC Co-Chief Executive, Michelle Janes.

Connection and collaboration lie at the heart of the community we want to build, and sit among the JLC/LEAD’s purposes. This network will encourage cross-pollination of ideas and the formation of collaborative partnerships, providing members the opportunity to support each other and to work together on projects, initiatives, and social impact ventures that address global challenges in the UK Jewish community. This initiative therefore promises a plethora of opportunities to continue our leadership journey together and be a force for positivity, learning and growth in the Jewish communal sector in the UK.

We look forward to the launch in September, after which we will announce further events.

Any GAMECHANGER or DSLP alum who would like to help us facilitate and strengthen this network is invited to contact Nick Young on nick@thejlc.org.
