This workshop has been designed to support managers to understand their role and responsibilities in relation to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI). In addition to increase their confidence in promoting EDI and developing a positive culture for all in the workplace.

By the end of this programme participants will have an understanding of the:
• principles of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI)
• different types of discrimination and the relevant legislation
• concept of bias and the impact of the different types of biases
• inclusive language with an increased awareness of the appropriate and inappropriate terminology that can be used during interactions with colleagues, and clients
