Ronnie was brought up in Wimbledon and went to St Pauls School. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1974 he set up his own firm and later merged with his late father’s firm in 1976 which became known as Harris and Trotter. The firm has grown over the years and specialises in family owned businesses and High Net Worth individuals including the property, music, digital assets and web 3.0 industries. There are now 26 partners and over 180 staff.

He is a Joint Honorary President of Norwood having served as a Trustee of the charity on two separate occasions for over 20 years. He has also been a Trustee of Teenage Cancer Trust since 2005 and is a Trustee of a number of other smaller charities.

He is proud to have undertaken over 30 years of continuous challenges including 10 marathons and 30 International Norwood bike challenges plus a few mountains climbs; he has personally raised over £2m for his causes with the support of an amazing clientele.

He has been married to Loretta for 48 years and they have three children and six grandchildren.
