Nick Young, Programme Manager

Nick manages our major leadership programmes; the Dangoor Senior Leadership Programme (DSLP) and the Adam Science Leadership Programme (ASLP) for emerging leaders. He also supports the Senior Leadership Programme Alumni network, established in Autumn 2023 and works on other projects across the JLC and Lead.

Nick comes from a background in education having taught in the UK, France, Japan and Hungary before working in roles in the UK Jewish community since 2013. Previously Head of Education at Westminster Synagogue and Community Development Manager at East London and Essex Liberal Synagogue, Nick joined the JLC in June 2022.

Nick has a BA in Public Policy from Goldsmiths College, a PGCE from UCL’s Institute of Education and is a qualified integrative counsellor and coach. He is currently studying part-time for a Master’s degree in Intergrative Counselling and Coaching at the University of East London.
