Jonathan Goldstein is co-founder and chief executive officer of Cain International, an alternative asset manager specializing in real estate investment solutions. As of 30 June 2024, the firm held $16.8 billion in assets under management through its real estate equity, credit, and private equity platforms. Established in 2014, Cain is a partnership between Jonathan and Eldridge Industries.

Prior to Cain International, Jonathan was head of European real estate and direct investments at Guggenheim Partners. He previously served for seven years as deputy chief executive of Heron International.

Before joining Heron, he worked at Olswang LLP, an award-winning international law firm. He became a partner at age 28 and one of the youngest-ever chief executives of a city law firm at age 32. Under his leadership, the firm’s revenue grew significantly and was awarded “Law Firm of the Year” on multiple occasions.

Jonathan serves on the boards of Aman, the global luxury hospitality and lifestyle brand; The St. James, a premium sports and wellness club and Delano, a distinguished luxury hospitality brand; and Chelsea Football Club and is chairman of Prezzo, a UK-based Italian dining chain, and Swingers, a competitive socializing venue offering immersive crazy golf experiences with food and drink.

He is the immediate past chairman of the Jewish Leadership Council (JLC), the umbrella organization representing the UK Jewish community. Jonathan also serves as a trustee of The Gerald & Gail Ronson Family Foundation and is an honorary president of Camp Simcha. His previous roles include chair of Partnerships for Jewish Schools (PaJeS), vice-chair of Jewish Care, and chair of governors at Kerem School.

He earned his law degree from the University of Manchester and qualified as a solicitor in 1988.
