Speaker Biographies
Vicky Fox
Vicky is the CEO of the Supreme Court of the UK and the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. She leads on all the non-judicial functions, supporting the work of the Justices, driving greater diversity and inclusion, education and outreach programmes and international work. Vicky has held senior roles at the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority and Electoral Commission and started her career as a government lawyer.
Vicky has been a JFS parent governor, Trustee and Council member of NNLS, a lay member of the NHS Blood and Transplant National Retrieval Group. She is a regular mentor for people in their early and mid-stage careers. She is a graduate of the Dangoor Senior Leadership Programme. She is currently the co-chair of New North London Synagogue Council and Trustees.
Tamara Finkelstein
Tamara Finkelstein is the Permanent Secretary of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the lead civil servant. She has worked in six different government departments starting as an economist in the Treasury where she spent much of her career. She is the senior sponsor for the Civil Service Jewish Network.
In her communal life she is active in New North London Synagogue (NNLS) where she is a past chair, and is Vice Chair of Norwood and a trustee of JCoSS.
