Join us in Hyde Park by the Reformer’s Tree at 14.30 on Sunday, Oct 6th as we mark the one-year anniversary of the tragic events of Oct 7th. Together, as one community, we'll mourn the victims and stand with the hostages still in captivity.
The event will be moderated by Tracey Ann Oberman, with a speech by Mandy Damari, the mother of British hostage Emily Damari (age 28) who is still being held captive, and contributions from Sir Simon Schama and Barak Deri, one of the first soldiers sent to Kibbutz Be'eri after the attack.
There will also be 40 information stations run by Jewish communal organisations, which will be showcasing artwork and have interactive commemorative activities.
Please avoid bringing bags and any items which may be considered a security risk, as we will have bag checks in place. This is a family-friendly communal event for everyone of all ages, and there is no need to register ahead of time.
You can find out more details about the event and see our full list of sponsors and partners here.
